Shady Shadow

These are some of my recent pictures of Shady. Obviously I have none too recent because these are from a year or two ago! She still looks the same, albeit with a little more gray around the muzzle. That is my sister-I love this picture because we were trying to get a really "dignified" pic with Hannah holding Shady and getting her to look right at the camera, her ears perked up. As I took the picture, Shady decided to try and jump at the cat, who had just happened to sneak into the room with us. Needless to say, we didn't get a dignified picture. We got an awesome picture :)

Beagle Bloggings

It appears that there are many different stories on the internet when it comes to beagles, as of course there is to every subject. Reading some information about beagles tonight, I felt it necessary, once and for all, to give my take on beagles, as well as helpful information I've learned along the way since achieving my 11-year-old life goal, which was getting a beagle puppy. That was nearly ten years ago, and today I sit away from my beagle, Shady, as my apartment does not allow pets. Shady resides at my parents house, happy and content with her daughter, Sandy, to play with, as well as numerous kittens and cats, along with the little boy or two, which always manages to run outside and play with her.
Here be it known that this blog shall contain reminiscences of growing up with Shady, as well as training, feeding, breeding, and overall care of her. As much as I am able, I will try to post a picture with every new post; as it is, I'm realizing I have about 1,000 Polaroid (printed) pictures and hardly any that are digital. Well it won't take long to fix that...except this post won't have any pictures. :)
